Kaolins

Kaolin is Aluminium Silicate Al2O3.2SiO2.2H2O and found partly in lamellar shape in nature. Our grades are typical pure and white ball clays that could be used in many areas like paints, plastics and rubber industries.

Kaolin grades can improve:

  • Opacity
  • Mud crack resistance
  • Scrub resistance
  • Resistance to corrosion
  • Resistance to chalking, in many paint formulations

Usage of Kaolin in plastics and rubber applications are vital due to its particle shape and inertness. Main applications are rubber, thermoplastic elastomers, greenhouse films, etc.
